Ambassador George Zakarashvili met with Dmytro Senik

On January 25, 2022, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine H.E. Mr. George Zakarashvili met with Mr. Dmytro Senik, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of Ukrainian-Georgian cooperation, including preparations for the summer celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Georgia.

Diplomats paid special attention to the intensification of trade cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia. Dmytro Senik suggested considering the possibilities of reviving the dialogue in the field of cybersecurity and digitalization.

Ambassador George Zakarashvili expressed Georgia's solidarity with Ukraine against the backdrop of the aggressive actions of the Russian Federation and confirmed its readiness for cooperation in the field of security; he also assured that evacuation of the Embassy staff and their families is not under consideration currently.
